Ferrari SF90 XX

The latest masterpiece from Maranello is not just your regular supercar. Instead, it is the first Road-Legal XX supercar called, Ferrari SF90 XX. An extremely track-focused yet somehow road-legal car.

As we know, Ferrari is a manufacturer that started a program known as the XX program for their top customers, where the customers can buy their Ferrari track car and go racing at any track in the world. All the logistics and the maintenance along with the crew were provided by the Ferrari itself.

Ferrari started their XX program with their first model, The Ferrari FXX in 2005. The FXX was based on the Ferrari Enzo. After seeing the success of the FXX, Ferrari released the FXX Evoluzione with improved power and some tweaks in 2008. In 2010, they released the 599XX and 599XX Evo which was based on the Ferrari 599.

In 2014, after the launch of Ferrari LaFerrari, Ferrari decided to make an XX version of it for their customers. They launched the FXX-K and the FXX-K Evo which was a very extreme track-only car. The Evo had more engine upgrades along with aero upgrades as well.

Today, Ferrari has released their first road-legal XX car, i.e, Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale(coupe) and SF90 XX Spider. Both are limited to 799 and 599 respectively. It is based on the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. The SF90 XX is powered by a 4.0L Twin-turbocharged V8 combined with 3 electric motors producing 1,016 hp. Has a 0-62mph time of 2.3 seconds and a 0-100mph in under 5 seconds. It has a top speed of 211 mph. It is rumoured to cost around $845,000 for the coupe and $932,000 for the spider.

All in all, the design of the SF90 XX is mind-boggling with the high wing and all the other improved designs and aero works. But is it worth the price? I guess we should wait and see for the reviews by others.
