The Automotive World has seen so many incredible hypercars and supercars. Especially as of today that is in 2023, the supercars are catching up towards the hypercars in terms of power, price, exclusivity, technology, etc.

In 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show, Christian von Koenigsegg, Founder and CEO of Koenigsegg Automotive AB unveiled the Koenigsegg Agera RS to the world alongside their future model Koenigsegg Regera. Agera RS was based on their previous models which were the Agera R and Agera S. It was basically the extreme performance version of the Agera R and S. It had technologies and features from their track weapon, One:1.

The Agera RS benefits from a number of One:1 upgrades as well. Like, new aero components aimed at increasing downforce (front splitter, front winglets, side skirts, advanced dynamic underbody flap system, and an active rear spoiler), and new vents below the front wheels are among them.

The Engine was the 5.0L Twin-Turbo V8 engine which produced a staggering 1,176PS(865kW - 1,160hp) with regular gasoline. There was also an optional One MegaWatt Package which boosted the power up to 1,360PS(1,000kW - 1,341hp) which could be used with E95 fuel. The RS produced 450kg of downforce at 250km/h.

Initially, only 25 of these were supposed to be built. However, the company decided to build and sell their factory development car and one other car as a replacement for the customer’s crashed car which occurred while testing at the factory. Therefore, there are a total of 27 Agera RS’s built for the world and each of them is unique and built according to the taste and specifications of the owners. Each cost $2M-$2.5M and depended upon the specification, as some of the specs had gold and diamonds in them.

The RS had set a World Record for the Fastest Production Car in 2017 at a two-way average of 447km/h (278 mph). And also had the record for the Fastest Straight-Line Speed at 458km/h (285 mph). It had destroyed the records of Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport which held the record of 431 km/h (268 mph). Making the Agera RS the fastest Road Legal Production car at the time until it was beaten by the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ in 2019.

Irrespective of this, the Koenigsegg Agera RS is my favorite Hypercar even to this day and it will always be the best production road-legal car made.

Thank You.
Hope You have a Great DAY!!❤️
