Koenigsegg is a world-class hypercar manufacturer based in Sweden. They have manufactured multiple record-holding cars throughout the years with innovations.

Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut

Koenigsegg announced the Jesko Absolut and Jesko Attack at the 2019 Geneva Motorshow. This is a successor to their previous model “Agera“. This model is named after the founder’s dad, ‘Jesko von Koenigsegg’. They claim this will be the world’s fastest car with a top speed of over 310mph. Only the Jesko Absolut will be able to achieve the top speed, not the Jesko Attack as Attack is built for cornering and more downforce.

Jesko comes with a 5.0L twin-turbocharged V8 producing 1,280hp along with an optional 1,600hp engine upgrade which will be available with the use of E85 fuel. Koenigsegg also developed the world’s fastest-shifting, multi-clutch transmission called ‘Light Speed Transmission (LST)‘ for the Jesko. The Jesko comes with a 9-speed LST transmission. The dry weight of the Jesko Attack is 1,320kg and the dry weight of Jesko Absolut is 1,290kg. The pricing starts at around $3,000,000+ and can go beyond according to the specification of the car.

I am very curious for this car to break the 310mph barrier and claim the world record from the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+. The production of these have already started and some of the cars have already been delivered.
