McLaren's performance-focused automotive brand has shown the world its new Track Toy, McLaren Solus GT. It is their sixth production car joining their Ultimate Series of cars, including F1, P1, Senna, Speedtail and Elva.

McLaren Vision Gran Turismo

The Solus GT is based on McLaren’s Vision Gran Turismo concept made for the Gran Turismo Sport game in 2017. McLaren later decided to build 25 of these for their top clients and each of these comes with custom moulded seats, helmet, bespoke head and neck support and an FIA-approved Racing Suit. It comes with a sticker price of $4 million.

It is a single-seater mid-engined rear-wheel-drive track weapon powered by a 5.2L V10 which revs all the way up to 10,000 rpm, producing 829hp and 650Nm of torque. Comes with a LeMans Prototype spec 7-Speed Sequential Gearbox. McLaren claims that it will do 0-100 km/h in under 2.5 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 322 km/h (200 mph). They also claim that the car nearly produces 1,200 kg of downforce at its top speed. The overall kerb weight is 1,000 kg. The Solus GT also has unique motorsport style Canopy doors which is one of the cool factors. The chassis is completely made out of carbon fibre with designs incorporated from their Formula 1 cars.

I think that McLaren has absolutely nailed the design and the choice of engine they have gone with for this beast. The V10 just screams to the fullest. Can’t wait for this to get delivered to the special 25 customers and to see the specs of them all.

Thank You.
Hope You have a Great DAY!!❤️
